Bear Architects is a family-led architectural studio based in Bournemouth, founded in 2021 following our relocation from South Africa. Rooted in rich international experience and guided by a passion for purposeful design, we bring a fresh, global perspective to every project we undertake.

We are a collaborative team of architects and designers offering a full spectrum of services — from visionary master planning to finely crafted architectural and interior design. Our approach is user-centric, experience-driven, and always mindful of commercial realities. Every project, whether local or international, is an opportunity to unlock value and deliver something truly unique.

Our experience spans the full landscape of the built environment, with particular passion for experiential design in the Hospitality and Residential sectors. We also bring proven expertise to commercial projects, applying the same care and creativity to every brief, no matter the scale.

We’re proud to maintain a longstanding creative partnership with Savile Row Tailored Environments in South Africa, where Rogan led the architecture team for over a decade. This collaboration extends our reach and enriches our perspective, connecting clients across the UK and Africa to a broader design collective united by a shared commitment to creating spaces that are bold, immersive, and environmentally conscious. Together, we offer a seamless blend of global insight and local expertise — delivering design that is as strategic as it is inspiring.
